Baccalaureate School for Global Education

The Baccalaureate School for Global Education (BSGE) is a New York City public high school located in the Astoria section of Queens, New York. BSGE was established in 2002. The school serves 7th through 12th grades and it is authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization to offer both the MYP (IB Middle Years Programme) and also the IB Diploma Programme.

According to the U.S. News & World Report 2018 High School Raning, BSGE was ranked #9 in the country and #1 in New York.

In order to be admitted, students must succeed in an admission test and satisfy other requirements depending on the grade entered.

The Baccalaureate School for Global Education (BSGE) is a grade 7-12 school with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program implemented school-wide. The school’s mission is to help sustain society and the global community by nurturing a spirit of imaginative and independent thinking, curiosity, and mindfulness as we deepen our consciousness of global citizenship and respect of all. We believe that our school community, through our thoughts and actions, can make the world a better place; a lofty school mission. Students can earn an IB Diploma at BSGE through the IB program.
