International Studies Charter High School

International Studies Charter High School (ISCHS) is a high school formed by the Spanish, Italian, and French Embassies in association with Miami-Dade County Public Schools. It is located on historic Calle Ocho. It is operated by education management organization Academica.

Class size varies from ten to twenty-five. Students may choose the Italian, Spanish, or French studies program. The school also offers Italian and Spanish Advanced Placement programs.

The ISCHS student body includes students from Venezuela, Spain, France, Portugal, Colombia, Switzerland, Cuba, Lebanon, Mexico, Italy, Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina, Nicaragua, Honduras, Brazil, China, and more.

International Studies Charter School was established to serve the needs of the community by offering a multi-lingual, multi-literate, and multi-cultural curriculum, preparing students to be thoughtful, educated members of a global society.

International Studies Charter School teaches students to think and behave as citizens of the world, make decisions with integrity, and graduate with a sense of purpose.

International Studies Charter School was founded in 2004 by the ministries of education from the French, Italian, and Spanish Consulate in conjunction with Academic Corporation as a continuation of the International Studies programs offered in elementary and middle schools throughout Miami-Dade County.
